Cut Loose MediaTerms of use

These terms apply to the Cut Loose Media app ("the app"), made by Cut Loose Media ("we," "us"). By using the app, you agree to them. If you got the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if anything here conflicts with it, Apple's terms control for app use on Apple devices.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app or the lookup services behind it.
Free trial, subscriptions and lifetime purchase
- Free trial. New users can use every feature free for 30 days. No payment is needed to start, and nothing is charged when it ends.
- Monthly subscription. Billed through your App Store or Google Play account. It renews automatically each month unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your store account's subscription settings.
- Lifetime purchase. A one-time payment that unlocks the app for as long as it's available for your device. It can be restored on a new phone using the same store account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Prices may change. A price change for an existing subscription follows the store's notice and consent rules.
Your collection
Your collection is yours. It's stored on your device, so keeping backups is up to you; the app offers backup, restore and export tools to help. We aren't responsible for data lost through a lost, broken or reset device.
Lookup information
Titles, covers, years, prices and other details come from third-party catalogs including Open Library, Google Books, MusicBrainz, the Cover Art Archive, Discogs, IGDB and UPCitemdb, and from Google Cloud Vision for picture recognition. This information is provided as-is and may be incomplete or wrong; you can always edit it. Music data from Discogs is credited in the app. Cut Loose Media is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. "Discogs" is a trademark of Zink Media, LLC.
Market values
Any values or prices shown or entered in the app are for your reference only and are not appraisals or offers.
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't promise the app or the lookup services will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it and canceling any subscription in your store account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
